The IRA holds substantial implications for the progression and financing of clean energy projects in the United States, envisioning a 40% reduction in carbon emissions below 2005 levels by the year 2030. With an impressive $369 billion in federal incentives, it stands as the largest climate investment ever made by the US government, bolstering national energy security and climate change initiatives. Understanding the intricacies of these developments can be complex for homeowners and business owners. Transitioning with PowerPair: The 2024 Solar + Battery Rebate Program

As we celebrate Qcells' strides, we're also excited to introduce Duke's PowerPair rebate, creating an excellent opportunity for homeowners in North Carolina. Recognizing the increasing importance of solar and battery technology, Duke Energy is reintroducing incentives for solar and battery installations.


Here's the breakdown:

  • Up to $3,600 for solar

  • $5,400 for batteries

  • A combined total of $9,000 for both installations

Duke Energy is offering incentives for each kilowatt-hour (kWh) of battery storage capacity added, offering participants $400 for every kWh in their solar and battery setup up to 13.5 kW. This means the more battery capacity you install, the higher your incentive.
