UnLabel Poverty
UnLabel Poverty is a three-day event in downtown Asheville, June 13–15, presented by Sugar Hollow Solar in collaboration with Asheville Poverty Initiative and UnLabel Me. Through portraits, stories, panel discussions, and poverty walks, the event challenges assumptions and highlights the realities of poverty in our community. Asheville Poverty Initiative fosters connection and justice through programs like 12 Baskets Café and Realities of Poverty Education. Sugar Hollow Solar is proud to support this mission, believing that a sustainable future includes equity, dignity, and shared abundance.

Take Root Festival

GETTING HERE: Free parking for customers is available at the HomeTrust Bank lot and at the Family Justice Center lot across from the YMCA at 35 Woodfin Street. Handicapped parking is available. There is a bus stop on the N1 and N2 routes one block away, on Broadway. Buses stop at both Woodfin and Walnut streets.

National Drive Electric Week Event
We’re incredibly excited to be sponsoring the 2024 Asheville Drive Electric event! We’ll be there with our Power House to showcase solar in action! We’ll also be there to talk solar and battery backup, and answer any questions you may have regarding incentives or the installation process.
Ten years ago, in 2014 at the Public Works parking lot on the corner of Charlotte Street and Eagle Street, the Blue Ridge EV Club hosted its first National Drive Electric Event. At that time there were three main EVs: Leafs, Model Ss, and Volts. The world of EVs has certainly changed:
On Sunday September 29th, 2024, in collaboration with Sugar Hollow Solar, Asheville Hunter Volvo, and the Tanger Asheville Outlets, the Blue Ridge EV Club will host its 11th annual National Drive Electric event at the Tanger Asheville Outlets from noon to 4pm.
At the event you will be able to see and ride in a wide variety of EVs. You can find electric cars, trucks, and bikes from Volvo, Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Subaru, Hyundai, Tesla, Kia, Polestar, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Nissan, Honda, Genesis, Mitsubishi, Rivian, Lucid, BMW, Porsche, Harley Davidson

Appalachian Wildlife Refuge Wild Night for Wildlife Fundraiser
We’re excited to be sponsoring the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge Wild Night for Wildlife Fundraiser on Sept 26th from 6:30-8pm! This fundraiser is being held at The Mule at Devils Foot Brewing.
