This is an hourly position.
Rate of Pay: $19.50-$21/HR

Sugar Hollow Solar is hiring a Service Dispatcher!  Our Service Dispatcher coordinates and supports the day-to-day operations of our service team at Sugar Hollow Solar.  This key role operates as the central hub for service scheduling, technician dispatch and real-time communication between customers, service crews, internal departments and other stakeholders, positively impacting our service quality and our customer satisfaction through the power of excellent customer service.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicates service appointments and service updates to customers, technicians and other stakeholders, addressing questions and concerns and managing service conflicts

  • Schedules service calls in the service department by assessing urgency and coordinating timeframes with customers, technicians and internal teams to ensure timely effective and efficient resolution of all system issues.

  • Utilizes scheduling software and tools to optimize technician routes, minimizing travel time and maximizing efficiency

  • Provides white-glove customer service always going above and beyond expectations through personalized attention, exceptional care and meticulous detail in every interaction

  • Maintains accurate and complete records for service appointments, technician availability and customer information

  • Identifies and resolves scheduling conflicts to ensure efficient use of resources, minimize downtime and keep both customers and technicians satisfied

  • Supports process improvements to increase scheduling efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2+ years’ experience scheduling and dispatching in the solar/electrical or other similar industry

  • High school diploma or GED

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal

  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle competing demands

  • Solid time management skills

  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Comfortable utilizing CRM systems

  • Solid Google Workspace and Google Calendar skills
