Tim Lightbourn joined Sugar Hollow Solar in 2026 as a Senior Energy Consultant and our first team member based in Greenville, South Carolina, helping expand our company’s reach into a growing new region. With a background in solar consulting and a drive to continue building his career in renewable energy, Tim is passionate about helping people take control of their energy use and make informed, sustainable choices.

Prior to joining the team, Tim worked as an Energy Consultant, where he gained hands-on experience guiding customers through the solar process. In his current role, he supports clients from their initial discovery call through installation and beyond, ensuring a smooth, transparent experience from start to finish.

Tim is known for his adventurous, self-driven, and spontaneous nature, along with a positive mindset and strong adaptability. He is especially motivated by the opportunity to help homeowners reduce reliance on traditional utility companies while contributing to a cleaner, more resilient future. Outside of work, Tim enjoys golfing, hiking, and going to the movies! He also holds dual citizenship in the United States and the Bahamas, bringing a broad perspective and appreciation for different communities.
