Tim Woodcock joined the Sugar Hollow Solar team in 2026 as a Project Initiation Coordinator, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry across both residential and commercial projects in Western North Carolina. With a strong background in project management, Tim helps ensure a smooth transition from sales to field and production teams, while overseeing permitting, documentation, and project readiness.

His decision to join the solar industry was shaped by both professional interest and personal experience. After Hurricane Helene left him without power for 23 days, Tim became even more motivated to help communities reduce their dependence on traditional energy systems and improve resilience through renewable solutions.

Before joining Sugar Hollow Solar, Tim also served over 15 years as a firefighter in both professional and volunteer roles, further reflecting his commitment to service and community support.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, designing and creating 3D-printed projects, and is known among friends for being an excellent cook. He brings an honest, loyal, and dependable approach to everything he does, along with a creative mindset and a willingness to think outside the box to get things done.
