Hands of the Harvest: A Community Bench Dedication
📅 Tuesday, October 14, 2025
🕓 4:30 – 5:30 PM
📍 Olivette Riverside Community & Farm
Join us as we dedicate the Hands of the Harvest Bench—a community art piece created from a solar panel salvaged after Hurricane Helene.
Local artist Kathi Barnhill has transformed the retired panel into a vivid painting of hands lifting baskets of food, inspired by the generosity of neighbors who shared their harvest with MANNA FoodBank in the wake of the storm. Now, this panel lives on at the Olivette Riverside Community & Farm, a neighborhood deeply connected to Sugar Hollow Solar through its commitment to renewable energy and resilience.
