Chief Operating Officer

Clary is the Chief Operating Officer at Sugar Hollow Solar, where she brings over a decade of experience in the solar industry and a passion for purpose-driven work. A graduate of Appalachian State University, Clary began her career in the nonprofit sector as an environmental advocate before transitioning to solar marketing with a mission-driven Benefit Corporation in Vermont.

In 2020, she returned to her Southern Appalachian roots and joined Sugar Hollow Solar leading marketing. Her strengths in building systems and fostering organizational development quickly lead her into a larger role as COO in 2022.

Clary is committed to making a positive impact every day and feels grateful to work alongside a team that shares those values. She lives in West Asheville with her partner and baby and is an active member of the Ladies Climbing Coalition and the Asheville AcroYoga community.
