Greg joined Sugar Hollow Solar as an Energy Consultant after a 17-year career at Cisco, bringing a passion for renewable energy, technology, and his Western North Carolina community. Following Tropical Storm Helene, Greg and his wife, Stephanie, spent months supporting recovery efforts throughout WNC, inspiring Greg to pursue work more closely connected to his community and personal interests.
As an Energy Consultant, Greg helps homeowners understand their solar and battery options, drawing from his own experience with a 12.58 kW solar array, SolarEdge inverter, and three Tesla Powerwall 2 batteries. His SHS-installed system helped his family maintain power for nearly two weeks following the widespread outages caused by Helene.
Outside of work, Greg enjoys exploring WNC on foot, bike, and water, spending time with friends, and tackling home and automotive projects!
