Ripley joined Sugar Hollow Solar in 2026 as a Solar Craftsperson. In his role, he works in the field as part of the installation team, bringing more than a year of solar experience along with a background in residential electrical work and various building trades. Ripley was drawn to solar energy after growing up in an off-grid solar home, where he developed an early appreciation for self-sustainability, renewable energy, and the outdoors!

Ripley brings a quiet, thoughtful, and hardworking approach to their work, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, organization, and maintaining a friendly work environment. Outside of work, Ripley is a local artist who enjoys hiking, mountain biking, yoga, and attending art and craft shows. He has also been posting a drawing every day on Instagram for more than nine years and have built a following of around 80,000 people!
