Joshua Reynolds joined the Sugar Hollow Solar team as a Service Technician in 2026 after graduating from Appalachian State’s Sustainable Technology Program. Prior to joining the team, Joshua worked at a small solar company in Washington, where he focused on the operations and maintenance of previously installed systems.

Joshua is passionate about helping his neighbors and contributing to a more resilient community. He believes renewable energy is the only feasible path forward to meet today’s needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own.

Outside of work, Joshua enjoys making music on his computer, rock climbing, and studying dendrology. His favorite fruit is green grapes. He brings a practical, optimistic, and human approach to his work, grounded in values of safety, craftsmanship, transparency, and camaraderie!
